Alton Towers is a theme park located in Staffordshire, England. They installed their first roller coaster in 1980 and have been building new coasters ever since. Alton Towers is the UK's No.1 Theme park and it has lots of history behind it making it a great place to exprieance top thrills and laughs. Alton Towers has two hotels and a water park as well as its famous theme park with world beating coasters !

Alton Towers have obtained planning permission for their new ride, code named The Smiler. It is a Gerstlauer Euro Fighter custom model That'll have 14 inversions. It will be positioned in the X-Sector next to Oblivion. The opening date for it will be the 23rd of May 2013.
