Cyclone, formerly called Riverside Cyclone, was a wooden roller coaster located at Six Flags New England in Agawam, Massachusetts.[1] The actual layout bore almost no resemblance to the Coney Island Cyclone's layout. It was constructed in 1983.

Hybrid conversion[]

On July 20, 2014, Cyclone closed for a "big announcement" for the 2015 park season. On August, 28, Six Flags announced that "Cyclone", would be getting the "Rocky Mountain Construction treatment" and will be the first hybrid roller coaster on the east coast. There are 3 inversions, including two "zero-gravity rolls", and the worlds first "two-hundered degree stall". The roller coaster got a re-theming with the new name "Wicked Cyclone". The rebuilt roller coaster opened summer of 2015.[2]
