An enclosed roller coaster is one wich is built inside a structure intended solely for the ride. Enclosed roller coasters are often mistaken for indoor roller coasters, which are built inside a structure unrelated to the ride. Often, the structure has a theme or houses special effects. Enclosed roller coasters are often ridden in almost or complete darkness.
