Dahlonega Mine Train, also identified as The Dahlonega, is a mine train roller coaster located at Six Flags Over Georgia in Austell, Georgia.[1]

History[]

The ride was manufactured by Arrow Dynamics and opened with the park in June 1967. It was retracked in the 1980s by Hopkins.

Name[]

The ride is named after Dahlonega, Georgia, a village in northern Georgia that was a center of the first gold rush in the United States of America in 1828.

Design[]

Dahlonega Mine Train features three chain lifts throughout the course of the ride.
