Goliath is a Bolliger & Mabillard hyper roller coaster located at Six Flags Over Georgia.[1] The ride is the third Six Flags roller coaster to be named "Goliath".

History[]

The coaster was announced in late 2005 with a computer generated trailer, one of the first in the Six Flags chain to do so, instead of using footage of a similar coaster in the chain.

The coaster opened on April Fool's Day 2006, which also marked the start of the park's 2006 operating season.

The coaster remains relatively unchanged, with the only changes being the replacement of it's original analog LCD TVs with digital flatscreen HDTVs in the queue-line (although a couple analog TVs remain at the gift shop at the end of the ride, powered off), the signage and the first quarter-or-so of the queue being moved to make way for a Fright Fest building, and the modern Six Flags logo being added to the train in recent times.
