HyperSonic XLC was an S&S Worldwide launched roller coaster located at Kings Dominion in Doswell, Virginia. The ride was closed from the start of the 2002 season until June 20, 2002. It was modified to increase its reliability. The most noticable of these changes were the trains. The XLC part of the name means "Xtreme Launched Coaster." In 2007, the ride was shut down.
