Trivia[]

The Japanese for "Mount Fuji", 富士山, actually transliterates into Latin characters as "Fujisan"; "Fujiyama" results from a mistransliteration of 山, which can indeed be transliterated as "yama" in some contexts, but not in this context. It has been said that the name "Fujiyama" was given to this coaster as a deliberate joke on this common error.
