The Great Chase is a kiddie roller coaster located at Six Flags America. It replaced the former Great Alonzo's Cannonball Coaster. The ride is located in the Looney Tunes Movie Town section of the park. Although a ride of the same name exists at Six Flags New England, and previously Elitch Gardens (this park's Great Chase is now Cactus Coaster), New England's is a E&F Miler Industries family roller coaster, and the former Great Chase at Elitch Gardens is an Allan Herschell Company Little Dipper model.
Design[]
The ride begins when the train is pulled up the 10 foot (3 meter) lift hill before dropping into a helix and turn. Because the track is so short, the coaster sends you through 3 times.
