Gulf Coaster was an Allan Herschell Company kiddie roller coaster located at California's Great America in Gurnee, Illinois.

HistoryEdit

The Gulf Coaster opened in 1976, along with Gulf Coaster at Six Flags America (both parks were currently owned by the Marriott company).

The roller coaster had many problems during it's only year of operation (1976), including several fires. It was removed before the 1977 season and was replaced by the Southern Cross skyride. The coaster was most likely scrapped.

DesignEdit

TrainsEdit
