Possessed is an Intamin AG inverted launched shuttle roller coaster located at Dorney Park in Allentown, Pennsylvania. It was originally named Voodoo, but was renamed due to a lawsuit from Six Flags, who owns the name Voodoo. The ride goes across the track five times in one ride. The ride opened in 2000 as Superman: Ulltimate Escape when the Geauga Lake amusement park in Ohio became Six Flags Ohio. In 2004, Six Flags sold its Worlds of Adventure theme park to Cedar Fair Entertainment Company. For this, all rides bearing the names of Looney Tunes and DC Comics characters were renamed as Cedar Fair does not own the rights to the two franchises. In the process, Cedar Fair rechristened the roller coaster to Steel Venom. Despite receiving new signange showing a silver snake on a black and purple background, the ride retained its original red and blue Superman track. The ride closed at Geauga Lake in mid-September 2007.
