Wow, its been almost 3 years since I joined the wiki as some socially unaware kid. (In 11 days it will mark my 3rd year) And let me tell you, what a ride it has been. I have grown so much while on this wiki. Not just as a roller coaster enthusiast, but as a writer. Not just a writer, but I have been pushed through this wiki mentally, intellectually... I learned a lot about the world, who I was, who I could become, etc. just because I joined this amazing site.
But this is where I regret to inform everyone that I wish to revoke my admin rights. I have done a lot for the wiki and will continue to edit now and then. But I can't seem to find the time anymore to give the site the attention it needs.
I have tried many times throughout the past year to …Read more >
Well, let me say, this must have had to been the DULLEST winter for Coasterpedia. At least for me. The few times I logged in this past winter, almost no one edited, and there has only been vandals. So, for you remaining Coasterpedians, we need to make a project for ourselves, and accomplish it.
We need to strike life back into this Wiki. I don't know the last time Mont has been on... For myself, I am doing an article expansion project. Everytime I can, I plan to find an article, and fill it with information. Maybe also have an anti-spam and anti-vandal project.
I was also thinking that the site could use a face lift. For you few remaining, (if any) please give me your thoughts... It's good to be back.

First off, I would like to apologize for my absence. I just haven't been editing at all, recently. But, it's usually around this time I get back in my groove.
Second, if I am not mistaken, 2014 will be Coasterpedia's 5th anniversary! So I'm thinking, why not make a new logo for 2014? (Not like we need to change the logo, but add text that says something like, "Celebrating 5 years" or "5 years of thrills". Something like that.) What do you think?Read more >
Well, I'm back from my trip to Universal Studios! (Obviously) So here is my trip report:
It was a 10 day trip. Three days at the parks. 2 at Universal Studios Islands of Adventure and one at Universal Studios Florida.
Because we got the early entry, the first thing we did was go to the forbidden journey. (Oh, the first day was Islands of Adventure) Even with early entry, we still waited 45 minutes for the ride, but it was worth it! The motion simulator was great! It was just a fun ride.
Then, because I need to rack up my count, I rode the Flight of the Hippogriff. Next, we hit the Incredible Hulk Coaster. It was amazing! Right from the launch, to the twist and drop, there was a great pop of airtime there. (That was my favorite part of the rid…Read more >
I have two reasons for this post, so first, lets get with the community questions.
Bucket list. I'm sure all of us have those coasters we look at and drool. (Not really, but you get what I'm saying) So, what are those Coasters/parks?
5. Intimidator- A B&M Hypercoaster similar to Diamondback. I loved Diamondback, and I love B&M. Not to mention out and backs are by far, my favorite type of coaster.
4. Bizarro- The "rival" to Millennium Force, that purple hyper coaster. Consistently getting 1st or 2nd in the Golden Ticket Awards... I think there's no wonder why this is in my top!
3. Fahrenheit- A Hershey Park masterpiece. This more-than-straight-down coaster twists along the track furiously. I'm not 100% sure why this coaster is on my top... It just…Read more >
